Plane refers to levels (degrees or densities) of “matter.” Dimension refers to the focus of consciousness. Our solar system and other solar systems are within a 15 dimension time matrix system. Earth is in the dimension 1-3 zone. Our sun and other planets in our solar system are in dimension 4-6 zone. There are other higher systems in the 7-9 and 9-12 dimension zones. A governing body, residing in the higher dimension 13-15, overlooks the well being of each 15 dimension time matrix. Through source energies, the governing body (GOD seed or Elohims) manifests the planets and all the beings for the time matrix (Genesis 1012).
There are a total of seven planes, our physical plane being the lowest. Hence any object on a higher plane will be invisible to us, and we can pass through it as if it wasn't there. Each plane in turn has seven subplanes or densities of matter within it. The dimensions of this Universe are arranged according to their vibrational frequencies, i.e., the higher dimensions resonate to the higher, more refined frequencies, and the lower, denser dimensions resonate to slower vibrational patterns. Each dimension is controlled by specific Universal Laws and Principles which must be adhered to while resonating within the frequencies of that dimension. There is no firm demarcation between dimensions, for they ebb and flow in a wave pattern and interpenetrate each other to a certain degree. Here is a brief description of each plane (Leadbeater and Walter D. Pullen Astara@msn.com) and the dimensions (AA Michael c/o Ronna Herman):
1. Physical plane (Dimension 1-2): This is the lowest of the seven planes, and where we spend our physical lives. We are generally only aware of the three lower subplanes of physical matter, which are molecular solids, liquids, and gases. The four higher densities, called the "etheric plane," are levels at various subatomic particles. A physical etheric object is generally not visible to ordinary senses. Fairies and nature spirits exist etherically. In Theosophy, life on all the planets in the solar system except Earth functions on the etheric plane.[41]
2. Astral plane (Dimension 3-4): The first higher non-physical plane. In the out-of-body and near death experience one is conscious on this plane. Right after one dies and before he reincarnates he is on this plane, and the first Guardian Angels are found here as well. This is also called the emotional plane because the "matter" on this plane is what composes a feeling, desire, or emotion. Negative emotions and the realms of hell-like "purgatory" exist on the lower subplanes, while positive on the upper. It is impossible for what we think of as "evil" to exist anywhere except from the mid-astral on down, by definition. Astral (and higher) objects and bodies can not only go through physical matter in the same space without adversely affecting either side, but they can go through each other without much trouble, avoiding the collision aspect that happens with physical matter, although one can still interact much like on the physical.
The 3rd Dimension consists of length, breadth and depth of space. The sentient beings of this dimension are the more evolved Animal Kingdom (group consciousness) and human beings, which have individualized soul-consciousness. In the 4th Dimension a conscious awareness of the “Now” moment is added. The 4th Dimension is the realm of “emotions” and the Astral Plane. Since it is the beginning stage of higher frequency patterns, time is more fluid and the laws of time and space begin to change. It is sometimes called the Etheric Realm. We must pass through the mass consciousness belief structure, comprised of a conglomeration of inharmonious 3rd and 4th Dimensional vibrations.
3. Mental plane (Dimension 5-6): The "matter" on this plane composes thought. It's possible for one to mental project in the same way one astral projects. But being conscious on this plane requires a high state of spiritual evolution. Altruistic thoughts free of desire or sense of selfishness will rise to this level, as may a person after death from the astral. This consists of a lower level (subplane 1-4) of concrete thought, and a higher level (subplane 5-7) called the "Causal plane" of abstract thought. Most Angels and other spiritual beings are found here. Where this plane meets the next higher is lodge our soul.
Unity consciousness begins in the 5th Dimension, where the illusions of the 3rd and 4th Ds begin to fade. The 5th Dimension is the start of the ascension process. We prepare for ascension within the patterns of the higher 3rd Dimension as we return to balance and harmony within the physical, mental, emotional and etheric bodies. We must have the ability to access the mid-4th and lower 5th Dimensional light frequencies to access the full Spectrum Metatronic Light, the Energy of Creation from the Cities of Light. This is where the transformational properties of the Violet Flame assume an important part in the ascension process. The higher frequencies of the 5th, 6th Dimension and up gradually become more ethereal or crystalline. There is form; as we move into the higher 6th Dimension and up, form becomes finer, translucent and sometimes fluid.
4. The buddhic plane (Dimension 7-8): From here, we leave behind the idea of an individualized personality. This is the plane (not of ordinary psychic feeling, which is astral) of true spiritual insight and intuition (subplane 1-5) and the plane of all-encompassing love and unity (subplane 6-7). This is the plane of the “Higher Self” or soul. The akashic records which contain the history and sum total of the past of everything everywhere are ultimately on this level of unification.
5. The atmic plane (Dimension 9-10): This is the plane of consciousness and life itself. On this level are found the great spiritual masters, as well as anybody who has achieved the ultimate "nirvana." This is the plane of the “I Am that I Am” presence, the three-fold spirit in man, called his monadic essence (the Higher Self of the Higher Self).
6. The monadic plane (Dimension 11-12): Beyond any type of matter, dimension, or evolution as we can think of, this is the plane of will where monads, the ultimate divine spiritual spark in all living things, express themselves and evolve and create on the lower planes. We've left space, time, and self behind.
7. The logoic plane (Dimension 13-15): This is the divine plane of "God", unknowable by definition, free of any limiting concept, the potential of everything. A "Logos" can be thought of as a vast deity which has the ability to be a Creator, i.e. to create spiritual life from itself. The great beings who are main planets, stars, galaxies, and beyond are "on this level." In terms of Creation, the Creator Being extended himself to the lower planes, bit by bit, first to “create” from itself, the planes and dimensions, then the rest of the known created world.
