A basic theory in Theosophy is Hylozoism. Hylo derives from the Greek word for matter and zoism means life. Everthing lives, from the tiniest atom to the planet to the greatest galaxy. Each entity, no matter how large or small, is alive and lives within the body of a greater being somewhere along the scale of evolution (Baker). The ideas here find corroboration in occult literature, which are 3 in number, as follows (Bailey):
1. In the creation of the Sun and the Seven Sacred Planets composing our Solar System, our Logos employed matter already impregnated with particular qualities. This matter held latent certain faculties that were forced to demonstrate in a peculiar way, under the Law of Cause and Effect, as does all else in the Universe.
2. All manifestation is of septenary (7-fold) nature, and the Central Light we call Diety, the One Ray of Divinity, manifests as a Triplicity then as a Septenary. The One God shines forth as God the Father (Divine Will), God the Son (Love/ Wisdom), and God the Holy Spirit (Active Intelligence), and these Three are reflected through the Seven Planetary Logoi (for this Solar System). These Beings may be called the One Ray, demonstrating through the three Major Rays (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) and the Four Minor (4th through 7th). The Ray that blends them is the Great Love/Wisdom Ray (Cosmic Second Ray), for verily 'God is Love'. This Ray will, at the end of the greater cycle, absorb the others to achieve unified perfection.
3. The 7 Planes of Divine Manifestation (the 7 Densities), or the 7 Major Planes of our system, are but the 7 subplanes of the lowest Cosmic Plane. The 7 Rays are likewise but the 7 Sub-Rays of One Cosmic Ray (Divine Love/Wisdom). They form but one chord in the Cosmic Symphony. When that 7-fold Cosmic Chord, of which we form a part, reverberates in unified perfection, only then will come understanding of the words in the Book of Job, 'The morning stars sang together.'
In Theosophy, the Deity that governs the entire Omniverse and all its Multiverses is called the Universal Logos. The being that governs our particular Cosmos is called the Cosmic Logos. The being that governs our Milky Way Galaxy is called the Galactic Logos. In terms of the Cosmos as a whole, the Galactic Logos is referred to as the Galactic Logos of the Milky Way Galaxy. Bailey and Theosophist Douglas Baker poetically refer to the Galactic Logos as The One Whom Naught May Be Said. Every star in the universe has its own indwelling spirit, called its Stellar Logos (plural: Stellar Logoi).
Each quadrant is our Galaxy is divided into 3 sectors. The Logos for our particular quadrant is Melchior, a cosmic Master from Ursa Major (Great Bear), a distant galaxy beyond our Local Group of galaxies. Earth is in the sector governed by the seven stars of the Great Bear constellation (ensouled by Seven Great Beings or Logoi). The seven stars are reflected in the 7 (masculine) rays active on Earth at present. The Rays may be summed up as the energies of the Creator which has been stepped down and “divided” into aspects and smaller components, to make all that has been created function effectively and efficiently (Innerlightworkers). Seven (feminine) rays also radiate (from the Pleiades), for a total of 14 rays. The being that ensouls the star Sirius is called the Stellar Logos of Sirius. The Sirian Masters are a large group of cosmic beings from the planetary system of Sirius that include humanoid and dolphinoid entities.
The being that inhabits the Sun is referred to as the Solar Logos (Helios), with Sirius as its Higher Self. The body of the Solar Logos is a four dimensional hypersphere, the intersection of which with the 3rd dimension is seen as the physical Sun.[34] In terms of the Galaxy, the Solar Logos is referred to as the Stellar Logos of Sol. In Bailey, the Avatar of Synthesis is a powerful being living inside the sun that serves the Solar Logos.[36] It transmits the ray energies from the heart of the sun through the seven spirits before the throne to all the life waves of the solar system. In Theosophy, the 7 spirits before the [solar] throne are the seven solar archangels. The Solar Logos is the direct link with the Source in a stepped-up staircase. Within the solar system are ten major planetary beings and a multitude of smaller planetary beings which are helpers for humanity. The energies of the Rays from the Solar Hierarchy are directed upon Earth through the Planetary Logos (Lord of the World), Sanat Kumara (with Vywamus, His Higher Self), the One that ensouls and invokes for the planet. From Sanat Kumara’s Consciousness, necessary energies are ensouled for Earth’s evolution. His Consciousness sounds an invocation that draws to Earth the energy needed (Bailey). From His Consciousness, the rays are transmitted to the world and every life form through a Spiritual Hierarchy.
The Triangles of Constellations: Lying behind all the many interlocking triangles in our solar system and conditioning them to a large extent are 3 energies from 3 major constellations. They are the emanations from the Great Bear, from the Pleiades and from Sirius. The energies coming from the Great Bear are related to the will or purpose of the solar Logos and are to this great Being what the monad is to man. Its 7-fold unified energies pass through Shamballa. The energies coming from the sun, Sirius, are related to the love-wisdom aspect or to the attractive power of the solar Logos, to the soul of that Great Being. This cosmic soul energy is related to the Hierarchy. The great White Lodge on Sirius finds its reflection and a mode of spiritual service and outlet in the great White Lodge of Earth, the Hierarchy. The 7 energies coming from the Pleiades, are connected with the active intelligent aspect of logoic expression, and influence the form side of all manifestation. They focus primarily through Humanity. Connected with this major triangle and affecting powerfully our entire solar system is a triple interrelation of great interest, which has a special and peculiar relation to humanity. This triangle of forces relates one of these major constellations, one of the zodiacal signs and one of the sacred planets within our solar system. The First Triangle (Humanity): The Pleiades - Cancer - Venus; the Second Triangle (Shamballa): The Great Bear - Aries -Pluto; the Third Triangle (Hierarchy): Sirius - Leo - Jupiter.
Earth and humanity exists in a multidimensional system. The Sun is our (humanity’s) collective Light Being as the collective soul of the planet earth is the ground of our being. The Earth translates to our being the energy of the Sun so we may exist and experience 3rd Dimensional reality. Our mind and its right and left physical hemispheres create holographic creative patterns that the brain understands and equates to perceive the sacred life process of sentience. The Teachers of Light are all the stars in the heavens and the beings manifesting these collectives. They are our soul companions. This network of expanding alliances is our Family of Light. They are combined in a unified field of Love, Oneness and Unity throughout the universe. (Rysa Perisanna)
The Mayan Calendar represents the plan of the building of consciousness over billions of years where humans move from reaction to creation. Humanity heads the life stream on Earth that is conscious and aware and learning to become that which creates rather than that which reacts. Accordingly the process takes more than 16 billion years for the energy of undifferentiated Dark matter to become individual Light bodies of co-creative consciousness, walking in the halls of time to look at every facet of creation. The method requires consciousness to become the active creators from the passive creation. This is the message of the charts, modalities, teachings and designs given through the mystic, mythic scientific methodologies of Astrology, Tarot, I-Ching, medicine, religions, nature, legends, stories and historical discoveries.
The soul’s enlightenment is through the power that comes from the Sun within the astrological chart. Each life form is connected by the Root chakra to the Earth. The root of each being is grounded in the Earth and through the Earth is incarnated into one’s Heart (the pulse of life or heartbeat). Upon the breath sheltered by the lungs as we enter into incarnation the Heart chakra opens and the chart is born with an alignment between the Earth and the Sun. The Sun is the indication of our spirit and the lower octave is the ego. It is the energy of the collective Soul which we become. The point of birth is the single ray of Sun energy and the life-force that defines one’s connection made through the Heart Chakra. Pluto conforms and holds the structure of the physical vehicle and it is lodged in the Root chakra. It contains the outer shell of our being and it holds the power at the Root chakra connected to Earth and its closest family members are Mars and Venus. The polarized male Mars energy and the female Venus energy create life and end life. Pluto provides the power of life and death. The Root chakra at the bottom depths of our being is the gate to the Black Hole that opens the doorway of new life and it holds the imprint of the each generation.
